What’s the first thing you did this morning?


Have you ever found yourself in the middle of doing something and thought to yourself,

“Why am I doing this?”

Routines. We all have them. What time you wake up. How you get ready in the morning. How you use your computer and phone. How you plan meals.

In the best case scenario, your routines support the creative, satisfying activities and qualities you want in your life. When you’re on automatic pilot, you can end up distracted, off-track, and overwhelmed.

If your routines don’t support you, it’s a good opportunity to step back and ask a few gentle questions:

  • How can I support myself (mind, heart, body, soul) first thing in the morning?
  • How can I be active, but avoid creeping into the Red Zone of Overwhelm?
  • How can I support and protect time for creating what I long for in my life?

Being curious and asking questions may lead to new ideas and solutions in your everyday routines. At the heart is a deeper question about intention:

What do you intend for your life to be?

Conscious routines can support you in creating what you want your life to be.
